This map is really something special, I guess no one does city maps like Rich (if thats good or bad, you judge :) DmRadikus99 looks great, feels great and plays great, it got some new textures that fits in just perfectly and the overall design is excellent.

Aw yeah! FINALLY got the fuggin portals working! I'd rotated a sheet & unreal wasn't

having any of it :P Still, that's another trick I've learned....

Water no longer transparent, improved frame rate.. but looked prettier before :(

Added chi-com/Invisibilty.. now, I feel invisiblity is not "sporting" in regular unreal

but had to add it for serpentine :( Motto of the story - don't play regular unreal

Tidied up a few textures & alignments

Changed the skybox a bit - mountains replace the city backdrop. Thought it would be nice.

Bot pathed! (yay) and they're mean muddy funsters too. Watch your step, kid.

Item placement changed

General bit of spit & polish to the map. Hate scrappy looking 1/2 finished levels :P

big ups to Omar,Baz,Spab,most of the Nildram fraggers, Aie & Latham for the serp mod (I love

you guys :P) and to you the reader for having the taste to download this map and for being

bored enough to read this

Making seamless textures in PSP 5 is a pain in the arse.

This map is an attempt to remove some of the foul "real ale" atmosphere from the otherwise

excellent Radikus... love the layout, hate the overblow decor & lighting. Also, this should

give you a pretty good idea of the demands UT's gonna put on your PC in terms of poly counts

and textures. Looks like it might be upgrade time, huh? :)

It's *not* just Radikus with new textures (well, ok it is) - I built it from scratch using the

slightly sloppy original as referance only....

A few things have been changed, esp. portals & that bloody lava trap has been taken out. Anyway

enough of me rambling, fire it up & check for yourself. No holes in the ground, dungeons,

spaceships etc in sight, thank God.

p.s. Dont jump in the lava, it's just plain stupid.

PLAY IT WITH SERPENTINE

the level was designed to accomodate serps physics - jump distance, player speed & falling damage.
