This map is what an online map is all about. It is compact, yet doesnt seem small, runs fast, and has some good killing spots. It is a two storied map with a semicircular courtyard in front. You can also get on the roof, and it is worth it to get some of the items.

CONSTRUCTION

============

Base : I took a Roman theme and ran with it... I also pulled a few Nali-based

themes from the Unreal game. This is Number 2 in a series of four.

Metridia is number two in a four part series. Augustus was the first, and Metridia is followed by

Herculaneum. The fourth in the series is not yet completed and as of yet unnamed. Both Herculaneum

and Augustus were originally conceived as single player levels, but after playing in the Unreal community

for a while, I quickly learned that single player levels received (at best) limited play and little

credit. (Some of those levels are amazing... check them out if you haven't.) Numbers 2 and four in

this series were designed specifically for multiplayer, online play.

Thanks to Josh and the rest of his team at Clan Damage, Inc. for their feedback and advice during design

PLEASE send me some feedback, as I want to improve in future trials! This is my second

attempt at making a level, and learning to use that editor was a REAL *$%!!! So anyways,
