ActiveScreenLock 1.2 is an easy-to-use (though, very effective) security utility that allows you to keep others from accessing your system while you're away. It uses password protection, blocks task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL), Win key, ALT+F4, ALT+TAB and other system shortcuts. All attempts to access computer are logged, and the time of the attempt can be viewed in a log file. ActiveScreenLock can be used for family and personal usage - monitoring children, spouses, or friends - or it can be used for institutional use, monitoring students and employees. ActiveScreenLock can show wallpaper of your choice. It shows clock, which can be easily customized. Screen elements, such as program caption, password field, clock and mouse cursor can be hidden hide after a certain period of time. If you're using Windows XP/2000, you can set transparency for ActiveScreenLock locking window.
