Deathmatch map for 2-4 players (4 at a stretch though)

Author's Notes

--------------

Rather than do the usual DM-box I decided to do something original for my first map. So we have a lift plummeting down a lift shaft hewn out of solid rock. Considering that Liandri is a mining company at heart it kinda makes sense to use a mining lift shaft for a tournament. They should have a few unused ones doted around the universe. :)

On reflection this was a little too ambitious as a first releae map, but I managed to pull it off and make it pretty cool and, I hope, more polished than your average first map. And it only took one restart and 145 builds (which probably ain't a lot but it took a while anyhow). It isn't the greatest but I'm proud to have finished it pretty close to how I'd envisaged it with some mildly cool but visual effects and nice, symetrical flow. Gamers at a recent LAN party thought it was pretty cool so hopefully so will a few others. Feedback is always welcome using the above email so I can improve my next levels. Next up I'll either do a stupidly ambitious but utterly cool Assault level I've been toying with, or a straight DM map, possibly with something to make it unique like this one. All feedback is totally welcome, good or bad. It's the only way I'll learn.
