Traverse the levels, collecting enough diamonds to exit to the next level!

BoulderMan by Julian Scott, copyright 1998 Seimitsu Software

----------------------

Version 0.991 - (Beta)

----------------------

--------

Controls

--------

Use Up, Down Left and Right keys, Push and Pause.

Define your own keys in the options screen.

You may also use the top, left, right and bottom portions of the play area

with your fingers or a stylus to move those directions

Pressing a direction key will move your player in that direction, unless he

is blocked by an obstacle.

Holding down the push button and pressing a direction will either move an

obstacle, collect a diamond, or clear the dirt from the adjacent square.

You must collect enough diamonds (as shown in the left of the panel) for

the door to appear to the next level. When you have collected enough diamonds,

The blank areas in the map will flash with the door symbol to tell you to exit.

Diamonds collected are worth a different amount of points per level, and those

collected after the exit appears are usually worth more.

Bonus lives are awarded every 1000 points

Every fifth level is a bonus screen. If you exit it you are awarded an extra

life. If you die on a bonus screen, you dont lose a life.

---------

Obstacles

---------

Collect the Diamonds

Move the Boulders.

Watch out for flys and fireflys.

Pushing a boulder onto a fly will explode it

Pushing a boulder onto a firefly will explode it, generating nine diamonds

Explode flys near to walls to remove the walls.

Slime will expand. Use boulders to suffocate it, and turn it into diamonds

Pushing a boulder through a magic wall will activate it. It only lasts for

a limited time, so watch out. If there is space below a magic wall, the boulders

will turn into diamonds as they pass through.

You may find you are unable to complete a level, because you are blocked in, etc.

In that case, Pause the game then press the Push button to restart the level

(and lose a life)
