Easy to learn dice gameee for your palm.

This is a brief readme of the Roll Em.

When updating from v1.0 to v1.1 the older saved pages will be deleted

and 5 new pages will be recreated. In future releases I will be adding

an update program to convert the data, when needed.

Feel free to distribute the program but if you do keep please try to keep

the source with it. You may modify the any of the source code if you

wish. (Like I had to tell you that.) If you like it send me an e-mail.

Have fun with it.

---------------------------

The Main Window:

The lower eight buttons (1d2 - 1d100) are preset but can be customized.

You customize the buttons by clicking the "Custom" button and click on the

button to customize. The string above the eight buttons is a discription

of what has been rolled. The topmost button is not only the total but a

repeat roll button. When you click the repeat button the roll in the

description is rerolled. The bottom buttons (<= => ##) move through the

pages you have saved.

The Menu:

Add page - Add a new set of pages. (99 pages max)

Delete page - Delete the current page.

Clear page - resets the buttons to it's preset values. (1d2 - 1d100)

The Custom Dialog:

Title - The title that will be written into the button.

Die - The number of dice you wish to roll.

d - The number of die sides you wish. (i.e. 6 would give you numbers between 1-6)

+/- - The number to add to the result.

Best - Take to total of the X highest rolled dice.

(If the value is zero or greater than the d value it will not function)

Count - A roll system that counts up the rolls that match the comparison.

(If the value is zero it will not function)

Value comparison - Beep when the total match the comparison.

The program checks both comparisons and could beep two times.

(If the value is zero or the beep is None it will not function)

Comparison values:

= Equal to

> Greater than

< Less than

>= Greater than or equal to

<= Less than or equal to

!= Not equal to

Examples:

5d6+4 = Six sided die rolled five times with 4 added to the total.

With the rolls 2, 5, 6, 5, 4 you would get a total of 26.

If you set best 3 you would get 6, 5, 5 with the total of 20.

If you set best 0 and count to "= 5" you would get the result of 2. (Two

numbers in the set is equal to 5)

If you set best 3 and count to "> 5" you would get the result of 1. (One

number in the set is greater than 5)

If you set best 0 and count 0 and the value comparison to "> 21 Normal" it

would do a normal beep.

If you set best 3 and count 0 and the value comparison to "> 21 Normal" it

would not beep.
