To complete a level you need to grow to a certain size. This size is determined by each level and the difficulty. When you have completed a level, your SpaceWorm will automaticly jump into hyperspace and proceed to the next level.

----------------------------
- Levels
To complete a level you need to grow to a certain size. This size is determined by each level
and the difficulty. When you have completed a level, your SpaceWorm will automaticly jump into
hyperspace and proceed to the next level. You are not able to open warp portals when hyperspace
is being prepared.
- How to expand
In order to grow you need to collect "food". This food appears on the levels by themselves and
your task is to collect them with your SpaceWorm. When you collect food your tail module will
be able to generate more body modules, and your SpaceWorm will grow.
Food Score Growth
Gas clouds 200 2
Energy fields 500 4
Power packets 800 5
Dimension pods 1400 7
- Tail Rockets
The tail rockets are attached to your ship by simply running over them after they have appeared
on your level. This is a very effective if you want to run faster or slower for a while. For
example if you want to overtake your opponent and sneak food from him. See SpaceWorm user
interface instructions for keys. Score: 800
- Warp Portals
Warp portals are very effective when your SpaceWorm are trapped and cant get out. When a warp
portal is opened, your SpaceWorm will pass through the portal and appear on another place on the
level. This can be very hazardous because it's impossible to determine where it will appear.
So use it with respect. See SpaceWorm user interface instructions for keys.
- Score
Every time you collect food your score will increase according to what food you picked.
The score is decreasing at a constant speed. This gives the game more action when the player
won't be able to chicken around. So go for the food with a reasonbly speed.
SpaceWorms
----------
- Two SpaceWorms
You can select between two diffrent SpaceWorms. The first one is a bit faster then the other but
can take less damage. The second ship is slower but its shields are very strong.
- Upgrading your SpaceWorm
When a level is completed your score will be recalculated into points. With these points you are
able to upgrade your ship. You can distrubute your points on the following properties:
Velocity This is the acctual speed of your SpaceWorm
Acceleration This describes the acceleration of your SpaceWorm.
Plasma Shields How strong your plasma sheilds are when fully reloaded.
Sheild Recover How fast the shields recover after the have been weaken.
Hyperspace jump time This is how many seconds your ship needs to prepare hyperspace.
Max Warp Gates How many warp gates your ship open at a time.
Lifes The number of lifes.
The cost for upgrading the properties vary. It's most expensive to get another life, and it's
cheapest to upgrade the shield. Instead of distrubuting all of your points, you may save them.
Why upgrade Velocity and Acceleration?
Yes it gets harder to navigate a fast ship, but the faster you complete
a level the more score you will get. And if you are playing in two player mode it's cool to
overtake your friend and trap him or sneak his food.
