Hang Sim

Hangsim, Wilco Publishing's new light aviation simulator, delivers these equilibrium-challenging sensations for the first time ever with a proprietary engine built from scratch to replicate the flight dynamics of hang gliders, paragliders, microlites and sailplanes. While most flight simulators utilize a very simple movement in 3D space to produce the feeling of flight, Hangsim ups the ante by simulating the effects of air currents over photorealistic terrain and then dynamically creating the sounds to match.

You get a 360-degree view from the cockpit and a good look at yourself as well as you run alongside your glider at launch time, soar through the air, and shift your weight to steer your craft. Your personal logbook tracks all the particulars of each competition, from date and time to glider model, contest location, type of flight and your final score. A separate flight record analyzes your performance on every flight in every mode, including flight time and distance, average ground speed and maximum altitude.

The demo takes place on the beach front and includes 1 glider, paraglider and hang glider. Four adventures have been included in the demo which can be run in both the free flight and challenge modes of the sim.
