Beavis is now in the Tournament with a complete voicepack including 75 well chosen sounds in all categories.
The Beavis UT2K3 Voicepack -By deadboy 09/10/2003 (for more voicepacks http://www.geocities.com/jcaucig/mypage)
This is a full Beavis Voice pack with acks, ff, orders and other sounds. About 75 separate sounds.
INSTALLATION
For Maximum enjoyment use voice pack with Beavis model ( Get Here: http://www.fileplanet.com/files/120000/127141.shtml ) or the cell shaded skin for model ( http://www.ut2003hq.com/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=2710 )
I have included .upl files for model and skins set up to use the voice pack. Of course only use these if you have the appropriate add-on. If you have the model/skin then there's really no point in installing the BeavisVoice2k3.upl, unless you want a merc model with Beavis's voice.
Install Directions
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1 Place BeavisVoice2k3.u and BeavisVoice2k3.upl in your UT2003\System directory
IF you just want voice, you are done.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Install Directions for model/skin and voice together.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you want model and voice together
Step 1 Install desired Beavis model/skin
Step 2
For UbH model use BeavisandButtheas_beavis.upl
For EvilEngine cell shaded skins use BeavisandButtheadcell.upl
If you want to use voice and model together, you are done.

----- Set up UT2003.ini and MD5 database for running a server -----
To use the new Voice Pack in online games, you must provide the
.u file and the
.upl file to the server administrator. The server administrator must put these in their UT2003\System folder, and edit the UT2003.ini file by adding the package to the [Engine.GameEngine] section, as follows:
[Engine.GameEngine]
CacheSizeMegs=32
...
ServerPackages=BeavisVoice2k3
Very important: The server administrator must also rebuild the server's MD5 database by running the following command in a DOS / Command window in the \UT2003\System folder (many thanks to ZYX2323 for sending this information!)
For original retail version: UCC MASTERMD5 *.U
For patch 2136 version: UCC MASTERMD5 -c *.U
If you don't run the ucc mastermd5 command, servers with cheat/hack protection turned on will stop you from joining the server. All sorts of bad things will happen (trust me), including corrupt connection messages (often seen only after the first game). This is a standard restriction that affects all voice packs, unless the server has added the .u file AND rebuilt their master MD5 table (or added the packed to the existing MD5 database).
