Play Unreal as a Nali. Three different Nalis. Supports SinglePlayer, Coop, DM, KOTH, and non teambased games.

First of all, I'm surprised I haven't seen this before.

This mod lets you easily play as a Nali.

The Nali Player Class was something Epic was making but never finished.

There are 2 different versions in this mod.

The Old one.

Many people know the trick to using the Naliplayer. For most he can only be used online.

The trick involved editing the User.ini file and joining a server without going by the

player setup screen.

This version is client-server compatable. That means if you pick "Nali" as your player in

the player setup screen you will be a Nali on the server.

There is one exception to this rule. The server has to have bHumansOnly=False. That means

if you can play as the SKTrooper than you can play as the Nali as well.

Note that there are a few bugs with this version:

By default the Nali is slower than all other players.

He is also taller. There are many spaces in the single player levels you will not be able

to get through. You cannot use him in the single player game, only botmatch or coop.

The New one.

This is the version I "fixed". Again the Nali is added to the player setup screen. As a bonus he's also available in the single player game.

There are three different types. All of these versions have been fixed so the collision is the same of the human players (you can fit in all those small spaces w/o geting stuck)

Sinner- is your average Nali, Holy Priest- is the NaliPreist. Sinner and the Holy Preist

have the deault Nali 80 health. I fixed thier speed so it's equal to the other players.

Nali Statue- is a Nali Statue.

With the info that he's made of stone...

He has 190 health. To compensate for this: His speed is half of any other player. He has slightly lower jumps. He sinks like a rock in water and it's difficult to surface.

He has different sound effects.

Tip: The Nali Statue can stay under water for up to 2 min.

Keep in mind you can only use this version online if the server has this mod installed

General Information:

The nali comes with all animations finished (me thinks).

He has a wave animation and 1 taunt (bow) animation.

He also has a unique fiegn death animation where he levitates.

Normal Nali health is 80 (160 w/ superhealth).

Durring sp, botmatch or your listen server the fiegn death animation will cause you to dissappear. If you walk/run you will look transparent. If you crawl/stand still you will

remain invisible. You return to normal when killed or if you fire.

Server Admins:

The Old Naliplayer just makes use of available resources. You don't need to install anything for this to work.

The new Naliplayer.

You need to install this UMOD as well as the NaliServerFull.UMOD

This will enable you to use the new Naliplayers on your server.

If you want to take them off your server:

You dont need to remove the mod. Just open your Unreal.ini

Find the section [Engine.GameEngine]

and remove the lines

ServerPackages=NaliSkins

ServerPackages=NaliPlayers

I changed the TeamGame to humansonly=False since the Nali nor the SKTrooper come with TeamColors.
