A lot of us gamers are growing older and finding
other games to play. Then, we come back to a game
that's familiar and find that we can't even play
it anymore. This happened to some of us after
Counter-Strike 5.2, and even going to Quake II
from Quakeworld (NetQuake).
Or, being really good at a certain type of game
like the Quake-engine games, and then getting
totally owned in a game like Tribes2.
The on-line game community also is plagued by
cheaters and lamers who can't depend upon their
own skill to win. They have to use aim-bots or
wall-hacks just to feel like they can win.
Very frusterating for us "old school" gamers that
used to network 4 computers together to play
Doom deathmatch (ok, and COOP).
Also, just about getting older and losing that edge...
getting beat by little kids.
