Terrorist briefing:

A major cell leader has instructed your terrorist group to attack this
dam in efforts to disable its capability from producing power. Today
is a major holiday so the facility will be running with a minimal staff.
Resistance should be light but there is the chance that the Counter Terrorist
forces are onto us. Complete your objective at ALL costs.
Counter Terrorist briefing:
---------------------------
Terrorists are planning to destroy key areas of the facility in efforts to
disable the dams power producing capabilities. We cannot let this happen as
the dam provides power to most of the state. We've recently received creditable
info that this attack can happen any day now. Prepared to be deployed via boat
at any given moment. Once we reach our intrusion it is up to your squad to
eliminate any terrorist force you come in contact with. Shoot to Kill!

This is still in Beta as there are serveral area that are still under construction.
I wanted to see how the gameplay is to make changes for the final release. I know
about several issues within this release but please send me an email if you find
something that need fixing for beta 2 which I plan to have ready by the end of
November 2005. Below is a list of the known issues:

-- Still laggy in parts as I haven't really optimized this yet.
-- Dam skybox does not line up perfectly with map and water.
-- Skybox Texture doesn't show sun. I need to find a more appropriate skybox.
-- I will be changing the water to a more murky and cheap water.
-- I plan to up the damage level of the water.
-- Soundscapes on 2nd floor do not work. If you enter the building from the top entrance you will not get the proper soundscape.
-- I need to add a block light brush for the roof access from within the building. (atm the sun will shine through the hatch even when closed)
-- I plan to delete the florescent light models in the inaccessible rooms in the building. These models still look lit even thought there are no lights on in there rooms.
-- Need to fix the sound and trigger with the sliding door to back of building. It’s buggy and sounds like crap right now.
-- Grenades will open doors the wrong direction sometimes.
-- Smoothing groups need to be applied for several brushes. i.e. columns in garage, random corner areas where a smooth look is needed.
-- I need to add more props in the control room as well as finish the empty room next to it.
-- I want to tighten up the skybox a bit more and make it look better. It’s a bit bland at the moment.
-- Add spark sound to entrance leading into dam from CT spawn.
-- A player clip needs to be added to the tops of the generators as players can get stuck.
-- The sliding doors glass needs to have the breakable glass consistent with the building windows.
-- Add shock trigger if you jump to the transformers in CT spawn
-- Add more wires throughout map

- All the members of sourceprefabs.com. I'm the sites creator and admin. I've made several brishes that you can find in this map available for all you mapper out there to use in your own maps. When the final version is release you will see hell of a lot more posted.
- Last but definetly not least. My Girlfiend Jen, Shes been really patinet and very supportave of me in all the months it took to get here.
- Valve Software, for making such a kick ass engine and map editor. Who knew making maps was so fun? I wish I had learned this earlier but oh well, At least I know now.
- This is my first released map. I didn't know what Hammer was back in November of last year. Since the release of HL2 I had to learn how to make maps. I love doing it and I want to create tons more in the future. I know this map is far from perfect but again it's my first map so hopfully I can get good constructive feedback that will help me on my future maps. Thanks and hope you all enjoy.
