This application is a fake windows CE program.
PilotCE
Developers release, Build 666
This software is freely distributable.
While there will be some that may consider this to be pirated, we believe
that Microsoft™ will neither be releasing this nor will they be furthering
the development of this package or have anything to do with it in the
future.
Read This?
For the love of all that's near and dear to you-DON'T READ THIS DOCUMENTATION!
After all, there's no real need to. This isn't what you think it is. I know
this because I know that you're already looking at this application because I
also know you've run it without reading this information first.
What do you REALLY hold in your hands here? I would be lying if I told you
that this is a complete implementation of WindowsCE for the PalmPilot. So
complete that you'll see every nuance of that astonishing operating system.
Everything is faithfully executed with no degree of care.
By the way, despite what it says after you execute a shutdown, DO NOT REMOVE
YOUR BATTERIES. Really!

Feeling Generous?
PilotCE in all realities is Freeware. If you really, really, like it and you
feel like you must give some money to someone, then we'll follow Jeff
(Tricorder) Jetton is suggesting a donation to St. Jude Children's Research
Hospital. Find out all about the great work they do at
You can call them at 1-800-873-6983. They even have a web-based form at
where, if you'd like, you
can make a donation in the name of "Kermit and Art". The same form lets you
send one or two cards announcing the donation (but not the amount). To send
one of them to me, use this address: Kermit Woodall, 1910 Byrd Ave, Suite 204
Richmond, VA 23230.
