A moment ago Simon Belmont had been in Dracula's tower, kicking his butt for what must have been the hundredth time. Now he has no idea where he is. The terrain is familiar, but nothing else. Also, all the wonderful items he had acquired during his journey are gone. With grim resolve, Simon heads toward the nearest tree to pulverize it with fists of anger.
