I graduated in May 1996. Anyway in my 13 year grand tour of high school life I never got to fulfill my dreams of shooting the living shit out of the place.

Description : I graduated in May 1996. Anyway in my 13 year

grand tour of high school life I never got to

fulfill my dreams of shooting the living shit out

of the place. So this is a map of the place, Weiner

High School. Right now you are laughing. Ha ha

Weiner ha ha ha ha!!! I'm not kidding you I went to

school at Weiner, Arkansas and you damn well better

believe I am tough. Anyway you would be pleased to

know our mascot was a cardinal and not a hot dog.

By the way I live in Fisher, Arkansas and have lived

in Fisher all of my life, so if you

make fun of the name of my old high school I must

say I don't give a tin shit.

What I have done is try to recreate my

school, of course I threw in a few extras to make

the place interesting. There are a few secret rooms,

although I didn't tag the rooms as secrets. I built

this for deathmatch anyway so why the hell would you

care about getting secret room credits? Go kill

people.

I don't believe the place has been condemed

yet but I will stress yet. So I thought why not put

up the signs early (you'll see).

Anyway don't expect a lot of special effects..

when i built this map i was startin out and i was

only interested in making my school look exactly

like it does in real life....so me and my buddies

could shoot the place up

version of duke a few days after it came out,

and sending it to me thus starting a craving for

the registered version which we both obtained as

soon as it was possible. Since then we have killed

one another enough times that we could become soap

opera stars.

Jennifer Lynn, author of JL-APTMT.MAP. If you don't

have it, get it, it's a great level to play, and

I used it to learn how to put glass into windows,

use C-9 explosives and build a washer and dryer!

Single Player : Ya right like I would waste my time building single

player levels, when 3drealms constructed so many

kick ass ones.

CO-OP Level : Does anybody actually suck bad enough that they

have to team up to beat the game. Come on no one

holds your hand forever, TAKE CHARGE, BE INDEPENDANT

DukeMatch Level : hell ya, absolutely affirmative, ach ja, certainly,

assuredly, 10-4, you bet, killer, right on, damn

straight, damn skippy, yessir.

Difficulty Settings : Not implemented

* Construction *

Base : New level from scratch. Whoever the hell scratch is.

Known Bugs : Me and Bugs grew up together of course I knew him,

I still see him occasionally, matter of fact I watch

him every Saturday morning.

Seriously though there is an outside wall that runs

around the entire map...and if you run alongside it

in a certain place (by the pavillion) it can kill

you.....somehow it makes you run at warp speed)

it really doesn't effect gameplay...just don't run

real close to it and you'll be fine....

If anyone is a perfectionist and has an idea of how

to fix this problem then mail me...

By the way I built the copy machines without a

model and I am very proud of them, go take a look.

Whskill2 is under construction which looks

about 100 percent better than this map.. it has

shading and looks like an earthquake demolished

everything...

*COPYRIGHTS------PERMISSIONS*

If I could copyright it I would, cause I put a hell of a lot of time into it.

Lets not kid one another, when I got your maps, I gutted them out and looked

them over and I suspect that this map will change more times than a teenage

rumor or my state of mind. I would like for you to keep a copy of the original

to send around with any modifications you make, that way I get credit and you

do too. Or mention me in your text file. A lot could be done to improve this

level, shading would help greatly and I may attempt it later on, but if you

come up with anything, better weapon/health placement etc.. or if you really

want to know how to do something and can't figure it out please email me.

P.S. if all you do is dice up the rooms and build off of them you shouldn't be

suprised when I come to you in your sleep and through the power of suggestion

cause you to kill yourself with a spoon. Gutting a level doesn't mean

destroying its creators original intent. Weapon placement suggestions are

one thing but orginality is another. I "gutted out levels" by looking at them

and learning how to build things using another person's idea as a model,

(such as washers, dryers, computers and microwaves) not by copying and pasting

or pillaging and plundering, and when possible I gave credit where credit was

due.

* Where to get this MAP file *

Am I the only one who sees this as a bit pointless? If you got the friggin

text file you can get the friggin level. It is like the phrase, "Everybody

writes on walls except me."

* A History *

I started out my building career with DOOM II.... I made a simple little WAD

file called mfmkills.wad if you have it you know I have improved in designing.

After that I got involved in RISE OF THE TRIAD and tried designing

a few levels in it. It was a bit easier than DOOM building but it lacked the

depth of DOOM contruction, although it WAS more fun to play than DOOM. So I

went back to DOOM and started building the school. I managed to fool myself

into believing it was looking good up until the time I saw Duke then I gave

it up. By the way the geometry I took in 10th grade helped a hell of a lot on

the DOOM stuff. Yes it was hard building DOOM levels but the experience helped

when I started out in BUILD since it still uses a map to do basic layouts,

but lets face it the 3D mode is what makes BUILD kick, and it saves a lot of

time. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. I have seen QUAKE, I'm

not really impressed with its Deathmatch and quite frankly its too doomish.

The main plus is the realism of the enemies. No more one sided sprites!

Anyway these are the ideas and beliefs of one phsyco and in no way do they

reflect people as a whole. Also DOOM II, RISE OF THE TRIAD, QUAKE, DUKE, and

BUILD are all trademarks of their respective owners..... blah blah blah...

* Public Service Annoucements *

So now you have wasted a lot of time reading. Fun huh? Did you notice my

excellent grammar skills? My wonderful composition abilities. I learned it

all at Weiner. If you noticed anything, I hope you noticed how I spaced this

damn text file so that if you are using EDIT.COM you don't have to use that

evil scroll bar at the bottom to see that last 3 letters of each sentence.

It took about three minutes to do and that's about how long you would have

spent scrolling every third or fourth sentence over.
