=============================================
Product Description: ** Shareware **
Try to land your Lunar Module on the moon safely. Landing
sites that are more difficult are worth more points. Dodging
optional meteors gives you even more points. This is a
challenging game with "attitude".
Minimum System Requirements:
Pentium 90, 16 MB ram, Windows 95/98, 6 MB free hard drive
space, DirectX 7.0a
Registration:
On-line registration is available. Registering Moonshot does
not require any additional downloads. The registration fee
is $14.95 US. A web page is included in the Moonshot install-
ation for easy on-line ordering (moonshot.htm) as well as an
order form for ordering by mail (order.txt).
Registered/Unregistered Differences:
Unregistered version: 3 ships, 1 landing site.
There is no time limit. Play it forever.
Registered version: 6 ships, 5 landing sites.
Discounts on future versions/products.
Install/Uninstall Support:
The install program (install.exe) is both an installer and
uninstaller for Moonshot. It is contained in the orginal file
you downloaded (moonshot.zip) along with this readme.txt file.
You may want to keep the moonshot.zip file handy in case you
decide to uninstall. If you misplace or delete it, you can
always download it again, or uninstall manually by simply
deleting the Moonshot folder (c:\moonshot) and then deleting
the program group in your start menu. That's it!
Users of previous versions of Moonshot (Moonshot 1.3/1.4)
should install Moonshot 2.0 and try it first before attempting
to uninstall the older version. The install feature will not
overwrite previous versions. This gives you the opportunity
to try out the new version and see how well it runs. At least
you will still have your older version in case you are short
on hard-drive space or you havn't gotten around to downloading
DirectX 7.0a from Microsoft. If you have a shortcut for Moon-
shot 1.3/1.4 already on your desktop, it will be renamed to
Moonsht. If you decide to uninstall the old version, simply
unzip moonshot.zip, run install.exe, click on uninstall, then
click on install.
