DESCRIPTION:
This mod recreates Private Frost (Ricco Ross) from the movie Aliens. It includes his facial skin and personalised armor (as seen in the film).
This updated version of the Frost skin also includes taunts, generously provided by AvP of the Vault Of Modifications (www.preditor.com/Vault)
INSTALLATION:
Refer to the Install Type at the head of this document before consulting the instructions below.
(A) This is a sound patch which requires the ScreamEd utility to install. Simply run ScreamEd and select the "Install Patch" button. Locate the *.pep file that was included in this mod zip and select it. The new sounds/taunts should now be installed to the revelant fastfile and the original version backed up.
(B) This is a sound patch which requires that you backup the original fastfile (Snd##.FFL) which it will affect and replace it with the new one included with this zip. All fastfiles can be found in
/Program Files/Fox/Aliens Versus Predator/fastfile. Once you have swapped the appropriate fastfiles around, simply run the game. Consult the Extra Notes section at the end of this document for information as to which files to backup.
(C) This is a texture/skin patch which requires that you backup the original fastfile (Tex##.FFL) which it will affect and replace it with the new one included with this zip. All fastfiles can be found in
/Program Files/Fox/Aliens Versus Predator/fastfile. Once you have swapped the appropriate fastfiles around, simply run the game. Consult the Extra Notes section at the end of this document for information as to which fastfiles to backup.
(D) This zip contains .tga texture files that need to be imported into Texture Infector and from there into Aliens Versus Predator. The FFL files to where the new skins are to be imported are listed below in the Extra Notes section.
